Jewish * Storytelling * Food
A tasty journey into exploring the rich and diverse Jewish food heritage around the globe.
Monica, from Mexico City, was raised in a Syrian Jewish family, intertwines her family tradition with a Mexican style. Eva, from Melbourne Australia, with Ashkenazi Polish heritage and Irish roots, and is searching for the memory behind the food.
Together, the duo explores Jewish gastronomy through family heritage, traditions and Jewish food legacy. Inspired by the way their mothers and grandmothers have always cooked for them, abundantly and with love, Monica and Eva believe that by sharing a table, we can create a shared experience of our past and celebrate each others individual histories.
Toldot Barcelona was born as a branch of Mozaika, a non-profit cultural Jewish platform based in Barcelona, Spain. Toldot acts as a conduit to explore Jewish heritage though gastronomic experiences and tours.
The food is vegetarian and includes drinks. Do you have any allergies? Or need a deaf interpreter? Let us know.
